Our Mission

   At Kenmore Barbell & Fitness, our mission is to help our members and clients improve their strength and enhance their lives by providing a high-quality training environment.

 

   For many of our members this has become a second home or “third place” environment: a safe space to pursue new challenges and interests. We value the diversity of our community and will continue to foster a supportive, energizing, and inclusive environment. In order to maintain this “third place” environment that makes Kenmore Barbell so special, we have developed the following Code of Conduct to ensure we operate at the highest standard of professionalism and ethical conduct as we continue to grow. All members, clients, and staff will be expected to commit to and uphold this Code of Conduct.

vincent mangione

Owner of KBAF, Strength Coach

Vin opened KBAF and began his journey as a strength coach in 2015. Since then he has expanded the physical gym and his team of powerlifters - much due to his hardworking and charismatic attitude. Vin works with strength athletes of all levels: from novice to internationally competitive.

Administrative Assistant, Strength Coach

Meg joined the team as a powerlifting athlete around 2017 and soon became an integral part of the KBAF community. In addition to being a competitive powerlifter herself, Meg has branched out on her own coaching anyone who is interested in gaining strength - from novice to high level powerlifters. She continues to forge a name for herself within the gym by managing all creative endeavors and assisting in administrative duties, making sure the gym is running smoothly for all.

jordan marwin

Personal Trainer, Strength Coach

Jordan's resume is nothing short of impressive - in addition to being incredibly qualified, Jordan coaches two fold: specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and working as a strength coach to athletes of all stripes – including members of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Jordan spends his time at KBAF with clients that are looking to improve their quality of life - and become harder to kill.

haley Sheehan

Haley is a UB graduate who has an endless passion for training and helping others find that same passion. With a personality that lights up the entire gym, she's sure to make training fun even if you aren't so sure about it in the first place. Haley completed her internship with Jordan Marwin, and we welcomed her onto the team immediately after.

ADAM SAGUN

Adam is a down to earth guy who knows his stuff. Having dabbled in everything from CrossFit, to Olympic weightlifting, to powerlifting, Adam's personal experience spans just as far as his schooling. As a future DPT Adam is well equipped to help individuals of all experience levels.

CHAD FORD

Personal Trainer, Triathlon Coach

Chad is a jack of all trades. A former rugby player and professional firefighter, and now a "multi-sport" athlete: Chad has competed in strongman, powerlifting, Crossfit, and even triathlons. Dr. Christopher Kendall

PT, DPT, TPI, PPSC

Our first ever in house DPT! Chris spent his first 3 years out of school traveling the country working as a Traveling Physical Therapist. This experience provided him a wide array of settings and patient populations throughout multiple states, with a majority of his career spent in outpatient orthopedic clinics. Bringing this experience back to Buffalo, Chris wants to focus on helping the community stay healthy and fit.
