   At Kenmore Barbell & Fitness, our mission is to help our members and clients improve their strength and enhance their lives by providing a high-quality training environment.

 

   For many of our members this has become a second home or “third place” environment: a safe space to pursue new challenges and interests. We value the diversity of our community and will continue to foster a supportive, energizing, and inclusive environment. In order to maintain this “third place” environment that makes Kenmore Barbell so special, we have developed the following Code of Conduct to ensure we operate at the highest standard of professionalism and ethical conduct as we continue to grow. All members, clients, and staff will be expected to commit to and uphold this Code of Conduct.

Vin opened KBAF and began his journey as a strength coach in 2015. Since then he has expanded the physical gym and his team of powerlifters - much due to his hardworking and charismatic attitude. Vin works with strength athletes of all levels: from novice to internationally competitive.

jordan marwin

Strength Coach

Jordan's resume is nothing short of impressive - in addition to being incredibly qualified, Jordan coaches two fold: specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and working as a strength coach to athletes of all stripes – including members of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Jordan spends his time at KBAF with clients that are looking to improve their quality of life - and become harder to kill.

megan himes

Creative Director, Administrative Assistant

Meg joined the team as a powerlifting athlete around 2017 and soon became an integral part of the KBAF team. Meg has been an assistant handler to Vin at local and national level powerlifting meets. She continues to forge a name for herself within the gym by managing all creative endeavors and assisting in administrative duties, making sure the gym is running smoothly for all.

scott abraham

Personal Trainer, Olympic Weightlifting Coach

Scott primarily specializes in Olympic Weightlifting but has worked with a multitude of athletes, including the U.S. Snowboard Racing Team. Scott is the founder of the nonprofit American Strength Foundation, an organization looking to provide opportunities for personal strength development to the next generation. Scott is also responsible for KBAF becoming a certified USAW club.
